What is an electronic signature or eSignature?
An electronic signature is a set of data associated with an official translation that guarantees its authenticity and integrity and identifies the signing translator. In the context of an official translation, an electronic signature allows the translator to digitally certify that the document is a faithful and accurate representation of the original. Although It does NOT replace the need for a handwritten signature and physical seal..
This is a optional service, it is by no means mandatory and is only recommended for situations where the entity receiving certified translations wishes to have an additional means of ensuring the integrity of an official translation. It is also recommended for those who wish to add an additional layer of security and reliability to their official translations.
