Official Translator in Italian
Documents in a foreign language that must be presented to the Public Administration (in Italy and / or Colombia) must necessarily have a translation.
The Italian Embassy in Bogotá and the Honorary Consular network do not have a translation service for the public, therefore Traductores.co puts at your disposal a list of official italian translators endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.
KEEP IN MIND:
If the documentation with translation must be presented in Italy, the translations must be written “per traduzione conforma” by the Italian Embassy or the competent Honorary Consulate.
This service has a cost for each translated and legalized sheet. In the event that the translation is on both sides of the page, but on the same paper, the cost will have to be considered unique. Payment must be made for the established sum (value of art. 72a for each sheet), according to the instructions in the section "Consular Fees of the Italian Embassy in Colombia"
The service may be required:
- Appearing in person without an appointment at the Italian Embassy in Bogotá on Wednesdays from 09.00 to 11.30 (up to a maximum of 26 people, served according to the order of arrival from 8:15 am), for each appointment it will be possible to present only two requests declaration of conformity;
- appearing personally at one of the offices of the Honorary Consulates in Colombia.
Remember that if the translator declares that the translation is in accordance with the original in Spanish and his signature is registered with the Colombian Ministry of Education, the authenticity of his signature may be required in a Notary and then the apostille of the notary's signature. In this way, the document, with Apostille, will be valid for the Italian Authorities and the authentication of the translation will not be necessary at the Embassy or at an honorary Consulate.
